Project Scourge – Serial Child Sexual Predator

Police need your help to identify a serial child sex predator.

The Vancouver Police, Surrey RCMP and Delta Police are currently investigating three separate incidents where young girls have been sexually assaulted at knifepoint. Forensic evidence has determined that the same male suspect is responsible for these heinous crimes against children. Furthermore, investigators believe he is responsible for a number of other similar incidents in the Lower Mainland as early as the 1980’s.

  • On April 1st , 1995 he sexually assaulted a 13 year old girl while threatening her with a knife near Lord Nelson Elementary School at 2235 Kitchener St. Vancouver.
  • On August 30th, 2007 he sexually assaulted two 14 year old girls at knifepoint in the bushes near 10700 84th Ave. Delta.
  • On July 3rd, 2009 he sexually assaulted a 6 year old girl at knifepoint in the bushes near 13900 62nd Ave. Surrey. The victim’s 12 year old brother and 15 year old male friend were ordered to kneel nearby while he sexually assaulted the young girl.
  • Investigators believe he is responsible for sexually assaulting a number of other children in a similar manner in and around the Vancouver area.
